John Oates is one half of maybe one of the most recognizable musical duos of all time (Hall & Oates). You always figure some of these iconic musician types have put up some stats. But, with all due respect to John Oates, he would not have been the first musician I’d name if you asked me which musicians have slept with thousands (that’s right….plural) of people. Apparently, though, that’s his number.

The legendary mustachioed rocker, who is one half of the hit-making yacht rock duo Hall & Oats, opened up about his sexual past in a recent interview, admitting that he’s lost track of how many women he slept with back during the height of the duo’s success.
“I’m sure it was thousands,” Oates, 71, told the New York Post‘s Page Six. “I’ve lost track.”
My goodness – John Oates, Ric Flair, Wilt Chamberlain. Put ’em all in a class of their own. This is some serious shit.
Oates is just out there slingin’ pipe for decades. How many people would you have to sleep with every week to get that number up in the thousands? Wouldn’t your dick just get tired after a certain point? I mean, those odds…wouldn’t your dick just fall off at some point? Oates is in that article talkin’ about how, “if you were a musician in the 70s and 80s...” I guess that’s just the way it was back then. Almost as if you didn’t have a choice – that dick was gonna come out and do its thing come hell or high water.
At least this story made me stop and think about my favorite Hall & Oates songs…let’s go to the Power Rankings.
