**SOUND THE ALARM** We need to get Brian Fantana and a microphone to follow Tom Brady around at all times at this point. High drama in the official Brady Watch 2020. Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was busted FaceTiming Brady and Julian Edelman at a Syracuse basketball game over the weekend. I don’t really know why Brady and Edelman would be at a Syracuse basketball game – that’s the real question surrounding this story, but no one but me seems to have the balls to actually ask it. But, here we are.

Everyone’s saying that this is confirmation that Brady is coming to the Titans. And, for what it’s worth, the boys in Las Vegas still seem to think Nashville is the favored landing spot for the G.O.A.T.. But, y’all have to keep in mind that Vrabel and Brady are boys. These dudes…these champions of men…go way back. They were winning Super Bowls together when yaboi was just a pubeless teenager.
Not every interaction or every single phone call is going to be about free agency. Maybe Coach just wanted to see what the inside of the Carrier Dome looked like himself. Maybe he just had a really good shit and wanted to tell his bro about it. Or, maybe it was literal tampering and he was begging Tommy boy to come to the Titans here in a couple of weeks. I don’t know. That’s between Vrabel, Brady, Edelman, and the Carrier Dome.
I’m still very lukewarm on this idea. I mean, I know I should try and present myself as an unbiased journalist, but I don’t. I’m a Titans fan. I’m going to root these boys on no matter who the quarterback is. So, does it really matter to guys like me? Probably not.
But, Ryan Tannehill really won me over in 2019. He just seemed like the perfect fit for the Titans offense. But, after seeing all the love that Derrick Henry got from Jon Robinson last week, and seeing how Tannehill got the ‘we’ll see how it goes‘ treatment, I don’t know y’all. Doubt is creeping in, and I’m starting to think it’s less and less likely that Tannehill’s the guy in 2020.
Maybe this isn’t just guys being dudes. Only time will tell.
Note: the only way this is tampering (since people keep saying Mike Vrabel is tampering with all of this shit) is if someone can PROVE that they’re actually talking about football.
