Quarantine Jams, Vol. 17: My Name Is Prince….

The 'Prince guy' puts together a Prince playlist on today's edition of Quarantine Jams.

If you don’t know you’re about to know. In my circle of friends and acquaintances, I am know as the ‘Prince guy.’ If you’ve seen me at any wrestling show that I do commentary for, then you’ve more than likely seen me wearing some Prince merchandise of some kind.

I saw Prince 38 times in concert, not including after shows and shows at his house, Paisley Park. I could write and write and write about the man and his music and how much they each mean to me. Maybe one day I will or maybe even share some stories on a podcast one day.

It’s been “17 Days” now of playlists and I purposely picked today to share a Prince playlist. I picked my favorite song from each album and then selected a few of my favorite previous released songs and B-Sides. Unfortunately, the Black Album is not on Spotify or Apple Music nor are the New Power Generation albums that featured Prince even though he is not named on them.

If they were, I would have selected “Bob George” off of the Black Album, “Anna Stesia” from Lovesexy, “Call the Law” from Goldnigga, “Count the Days” from Exodus and “The One” from New Power Soul.
