Gotta say – with all this free time during the quarantine, and with summer quickly approaching, I don’t know that you’ll ever find a better time to get your fishing technique locked down real tight. Think about it – do you want to catch big honkers this summer? Well, the professionals are out working on it right now. You’re sleeping, and they’re grinding.
Okay, okay – calm down. Don’t worry too much. Your boy’s here to help you figure this thing out. That’s what we do as journalists – we’re here to help the masses.
So, I found this awesome new instructional video that should give you a complete leg up on the competition down by the lake this summer:

Why JUST throw a line out into the water when you can also deliver a Snuka Splash to any fish swimming right below the pier?
Genius!
It makes perfect sense, too. If you leap into the water, you’ll get a few extra feet on that cast off. Anybody that knows anything about fishing knows that the bigger fish chill out in the deeper water. Having trouble getting your line out far enough? Just fucking jump in the water! How could we have never thought about that before?!?! Sometimes, folks, the most complex problems have the simplest answers.
I’d say you might want to work on your handwork, though. You’re gonna find yourself floating in a hurry and those fishies will be SWIMMIN’ – so you better prepare to grab holt of one as soon as you hit the water. Hopefully, they’ll be incapacitated ’cause you just dropped the Macho Man elbow drop on ’em.
I’ll tell ya – I won’t be surprised to see this fishing technique pop up all over the Bassmaster this season. This is the future of fishing.
