Welcome all degenerate gamblers back into our weekly American football column here on the SoBros Network, Tank the 401k. Call your bookie and empty those retirement accounts (actually, don’t really do that – this is just sarcasm. Our lawyers say we shouldn’t claim to be experts on anything because we’re not)! Each week, Stoney and Stan team up to offer their three locks of the week – obviously, we’re not professionals here so take this advice with a grain of salt and don’t sue us if you piss all of your money away. That’s not our fault. Okay, I think we’re all set here – here are this week’s SoBros Gambling Picks.
Stan’s Picks
Many are saying we are the hottest free handicappers out there. I’ll let you be the judge. Sorry I only had two winners last week. Covid gonna covid y’all. I don’t want to do it, but I’m going to do it.
Clemson -5 – Yes, Trevor Lawrence is out. Yes, I’m probably going to jinx them, but Clemson by a million. I think they stop ND’s run and the rest is history.
** Thursday night delight ** – OVER 48.5 in Green Bay vs San Fran – But Stan, half the 49ers offense is out, so the under is a lock. That’s what Vegas wants you sheep to think. How is it going to be over? No clue, just playing the reverse trap against the Vegas gods.
Raiders – pick em – Hunter Renfrow carries the Clemson cover momentum into Sunday and we end the week 3-0. You’re welcome.

Stoney’s Picks
Well, I’m the fucking weak link here in 2020 – let’s go ahead and get that out of the way. Absolutely brutal week going 0-3. Thank goodness Stan is on the hot streak of a lifetime, and is carrying the team right now. Let me try to catch back up here…
Ravens -1.5 – I’m not gonna call the Colts a fake 5-2 just yet, but their schedule hasn’t been the most difficult either. I absolutely hate them in this spot against a solid Ravens team that will be looking to bounce back after a tough loss to the Steelers to keep pace in the AFC North.
Seahawks -3 – I know they have to travel across the country, but I love this match-up for Russell Wilson and the Seahawks offense. If you have a good offense (Dolphins, Rams, Raiders), you’re going to be competitive with this Bills team. If you have an elite offense (Chiefs, Titans), you’re in even better shape. I expect the Seahawks to keep it to a one-possession game like they did on the road in Miami, but they’re still going to win by at least four. That ain’t askin’ much.
Raiders @ Chargers, OVER 51.5 – The stats look nearly identical between these two teams in terms of yardage posted and yardage allowed. While the current forecast calls for 18MPH wind, I don’t think it’ll be a factor regardless as both teams can post numbers through the air and on the ground. Likewise, on defense, both of these squads allow a ton. I think this is a comfortable over play.
