Now, I’m not going to publicly state that it’s time to turn on the Christmas music just yet – give me at least a week or so to decompress and reflect upon Spooky Season. Then, it’s full-on go time. I’ll probably be firing up the Christmas tunes beginning next week.
But, as evidence by my selections, I’m a big fan of the old time Christmas classics. I don’t need all the hip new remakes….just give me the Christmas anthems of yesteryear. That’s the shit that takes me back to simpler times, and it really amplifies the spirit of the holidays for me.

She catches a lot of shit, but I’m gonna tell you what, Cadbury – I had a full-on “thing” for The Nanny when I was a young man. She had a fastball that no one wants to admit to. She brought the heat back in her day. I’ll never forget that. Don’t let the haters get to you – she brought it.
Side note: Trisha Butler on the Scoop Wilson and Scoop Clarksville morning shows does a killer Fran Drescher impression. Gotta check those guys out if you aren’t already.
