I pretty much screamed when I saw this pack of Bud Light’s new “Ugly Sweater” holiday themed seltzers. I love anything with a theme, and I REALLY love themed beer and cocktails.
To be completely honest, I was not a fan of any of Bud Light’s other seltzer flavors. They never quite compared to White Claw, and tasted far too sugary for me. I like seltzers that are crisp with just a hint of flavor- but not overpowering. It’s a science.
So, while I was thrilled to get to try something new, I also didn’t want to get my hopes up, and potentially have Bud Light disappoint again. That’s not the case though because this entire flavor pack RULES.
Let’s break down the Bud Light Seltzer Ugly Sweater Pack. Four new flavors in the slim can with some really cheerful holiday designs.
4. Cranberry– This flavor is ranked last only because I have had other cranberry seltzers before, so I kind of knew what to expect. Bud Light’s might be my favorite one now though.
3. Gingersnap- I think this one was the flavor I was most excited to try. The idea of the refreshing body of a seltzer mixed with a classic spiced flavor was really intriguing to me. It definitely worked.
2. Peppermint Pattie- This shouldn’t be as good as it is, and I don’t even like peppermint that much. But, wow this was such an interesting and comforting flavor. Bud Light took a chance on a peppermint seltzer and I’m glad they did.
1. Apple crisp- THEY PUT DESSERT IN A CAN AND MADE IT A SELTZER. This flavor is probably the greatest seltzer flavor of all time. I’m calling it now.
Bud Light won the holiday season.
