The holiday season is in full on X-Games mode right now and it needs a festive playlist. Sure, you can listen to Mariah Carey over and over and over but why not add some new classics to the rotation? 2020 has brought us a massive amount of new holiday offerings in the music department including some of the biggest names in the biz including Dolly Parton and Carrie Underwood. Shaggy, Goo Goo Dolls, and Poppy are some of the unlikely suspects to take their turn at the holiday genre.
Members of the All-New Mickey Mouse Club, better known as MMC to fans, reunited for a Christmas album this year along with Broadway star Leslie Odom, Jr. and former pop princesses JoJo and Mandy Moore submitting their own releases. This year’s crop of holiday releases is sure to have something for someone. There’s a cappella, country, reggae, alternative and jazz just to mention some of the musical genres represented this year.
