The future is going to be wild as hell, y’all. I mean, we can’t even fathom it. We always default to the flying cars and shit we saw in The Jetsons, but I’m here to tell you that there’s going to be so much more than flying cars in the future.
I’ve been on the Internet of Things train for awhile now, but holy shit – apparently, there’s an Internet of Senses too. Sounds to me like we’re inching closer and closer towards becoming robots ourselves and I’m 100% here for that.
That’s the secret to eternal life – not to find some way to preserve our physical bodies, but to find a way to turn all of us into robots that can live forever. And, don’t worry about overpopulation – that’s what Mars is for. And, shit while I’m at it – if we don’t need oxygen and water anymore, we can just go on ahead and colonize Jupiter too. Plenty of room there. That’s one of my many goals and ambitions for SoBros Network. Don’t ask me how we’re going to get there – I just want to be one of those eclectic CEOs that is frozen in time or builds the first Starbucks on Jupiter or something like that, y’know? Wouldn’t that be cool?
Anyway, us becoming robots – there are now some rumblings about a device that, by 2030, could have us controlling what we taste. I guess some scientists watched Christmas Chronicles 2.

Could you imagine putting a device in your mouth that digitally enhances the food you eat, so that anything can taste exactly how you want it to taste? According to Ericsson Research, by 2030, 44 percent of consumers surveyed expect this to be possible.
I want to know how this works – is it like a dental dam? How do you program it? Does it run on electricity? If so, y’all gonna have a lot of fried mouths in the future. Or, is it going to be a chemical application? You just swallow the cheeseburger pill and the next thing you eat is going to taste like a burger.
Sure, the implications of such a creation are vast and powerful – imagine how it would help us lose weight if we could eat a pound of broccoli thinking it was a double bacon cheeseburger. We’d be able to solve world hunger if we could make that healthy gruel stuff that astronauts and soldiers eat taste like cheesecake.
But, I’m just hung up on whether or not this is going to be a dental dam.
