Snoop Dogg…Yes, Snoop Dogg…Delivered a Big Splash on AEW Last Night

Snoop Dogg showed up on AEW last night and made his way up to the top rope to deliver a big splash in the process!

I’m not going to lie, guys – I’ve been out of the professional wrestling loop for quite some time now. I see y’all arguing about AEW and NXT on Twitter every week, but that’s about it. So, I have no context for the clip I’m writing about today. I have no idea why Snoop Dogg was on AEW last night. I don’t know what brought him there…nothing. Hell, I’m not even sure who the dudes he’s in the ring with are. All I know is that Snoop Dogg showed up on AEW last night, he climbed up to the top rope, and he delivered a big splash.

That’s what I’m talkin’ about, baby! Is that the shittiest big splash in wrestling history? Possibly. But, it doesn’t matter – wrestling’s fake and Snoop Dogg rules. That’s the thinking behind this – it doesn’t matter what it looks like. This guy is a rap legend, completely untrained as a professional wrestler. It’s not supposed to look good. It’s supposed to get you fired up, and that’s exactly what happened. I’m ready to run through a brick wall ’cause Snoop Dogg’s throwing his body around like Jeff Hardy. What a daredevil. Also, Chris Jericho claiming Snoop Dogg is nine feet tall is comedy gold.

Brilliant move by AEW – this is how you get the people talking. This is how you get the big time media brands like SoBros Network writing about your product. It’s not by putting the belt on Kenny Omega. It’s not putting on classic matches. It’s celebrity involvement – just like Vince.

Now, I will say this – before I kinda got out of wrestling for football season, AEW was 100% my shit. Now that I know Snoop Dogg is involved, I might have to put the playoffs on hold to get caught up on the AEW.

I will now unglue my tongue from my cheek.
