“I don’t do Zoolander. I do Ron Burgundy, though.”
What a champion of men! It takes a real man to rock that suit, of which Zoolander is not. But, Ron Burgundy? Ron Burgundy has like thrice the testosterone of a normal man. Just an outright alpha move on air for Plushnick.
All of this seemingly out of nowhere, too. He just woke up this morning and was like, “You know what? I’m just going to drop the hammer on Nashville today.”
That burgundy suit, and I dare say it’s almost merlot, with the white shirt and blue tie is such a classic look. It’s so hard to pull it off, too. If you wear that every day, you run the risk of your style being a little dated. You don’t want people walking around the office, saying, “what is Jared? Stuck in the 70s or something?” But, once in a while, you pull that bad boy out and it’s “vintage,” or “throwback,” as the kids say. Just applaud the ‘classic gentleman’ look. So, bravo sir.
I still want him and Josh Breslow to get another crack and crushing a can on their heads, though. Maybe this time, they can do it when they aren’t wearing makeup and don’t have to worry about working with blood on their heads for hours. But, I guess I’ll have to wait until the next “Crush A Can On Your Head Day,” or whatever day it was when they were doing that.
And, boy does that last paragraph sound weird if you don’t realize I’m talking about two news broadcasters.
Anyway, perhaps no one put it better than Paige Hill:
