Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the wonderful summer fragrance, Cliffside Sunrise.

The summer is nearing its end, and your boy is scrambling to get that summer time Yankee Candle content in. So, bear with me on the rapid barrage of Yankee Candle reviews you’ll see on the site for the rest of the month. But, I didn’t get these new scents just to enjoy them from the comfort of my own home! I actually did buy them just to enjoy from the comfort of my own home. My apologies for the deception – I got a little carried away.

Anyway, today I’ll be talking about Cliffside Sunrise, one of the new fragrances that dropped this summer. I can get a little stuck in my ways when it comes to the favorites – Midsummer’s Night, Sun and Sand, Coconut Bay, etc. – and not really give a new fragrance a chance. But, I’m happy I did with this one – it rules. It’s almost as if there are two layers to Cliffside Sunrise – on one hand, the fruity strawberry scent shines through. On the other, there’s a nice dirty undertone to it that grounds it and makes it feel not-so-over-the-top-tropical. I said it in my review, but it bears repeating – if you could put Cliffside Sunrise in a daiquiri, I’d butt chug the hell out of that shit.

Recommended burning: At a summer party, with the sunlight beaming hotly and brightly, when you and your guests are juuuuuuuuuust on the verge of putting the tarps down and having a full-blown orgy.
