As if cranberry sauce wasn’t already divisive enough at this time of the year, somebody somewhere decided to go ahead and put pickles on top of it and serve it up in pie form. Also, I never knew cranberry pie was a thing, but that actually sounds enticing to me as a fan of cranberry sauce. Learn something new every day. Broaden your horizons, and what have you. Nonetheless, this almost feels like a troll job, and if that’s the case then I am absolutely here for the cranberry pickle pie.

So, I know that the Utah pickle pie is a real thing that exists, but we are just getting out of control with this one. At least there’s some respect in the Utah pickle pie. I would actually try that. But, this? This is just opening a jar of pickles and throwing it on top of a cranberry pie. Cranberry – did I mention that part yet?
Can you imagine your family’s reaction to this if you roll up to the family gathering with it in tow? That’s why I think it has to be a joke, right? This has to be a troll job to get idiots like me riled up on the internet. Well, guess what guys…I fell for it. Hook, line, and sinker. I am shaking mad right now. But, there’s also that curious part of me that wants to try it. One, just for the content. But, two – just because you only live once.
Do you want to be on your deathbed wondering what that cranberry pickle pie tasted like? No…this is some bucket list shit. What are you going to tell your grandkids when they come across this tweet in 30 years and ask if you were brave enough to go for it? Are you going to tell them you rose to the occasion and shoved it down your gullet? Or, are you going to have to come clean and tell them you’re a coward? This is the pitch I’m going to use on my family when I show up with this monstrosity tomorrow evening.
In all seriousness, I think you’ve got a better chance of me fuckin’ this pie before eatin’ it. That’s what she said.
