Tits the season here on SoBros Network – with fun and festive holiday episodes of just about every show we run here, we figured why not give Phone It In its own chance to get in on the fun?! Rooster and I did just that, opting to dive into the legend and mythology of Krampus, the badass and maybe-even-a-little sexy demon who terrorizes bad children at Christmastime by dragging them to hell and eating them, or putting sticks in their shoes or something, I can’t remember.
We talk about the origins of the Krampus story, why it might’ve failed to really catch on and spread outside of Europe, who would win in a fight between Krampus and Santa Claus, who would win in a fight between Krampus and Bigfoot, who would win in a fight between Krampus and Fred Claus, and of course, you can’t mention Fred Claus without mentioning Paul Giamatti’s dump truck ass. This is a fun one….depending on how you define fun….as we close out the year on Phone It In.
