I haven’t watched any Drake London yet. Forgive me, but I’ve been focusing all my attention, up until recently, on prospects that I believe will be there at #26 for the Tennessee Titans to select. I know it might sound outrageous but I do actual football writing from time to time on this here SoBros Network. So, I would stop short of officially calling Treylon Burks WR1 in this draft class, but of all the main guys I’ve watched so far, he’s my favorite.
You can’t help but love how physically and athletically he plays receiver. The dude wins a lot of 1:1 battles with his pure talent, he’s slippery in the open field, and can identify gaps in coverage and accelerate right through them. While there’s plenty of technique to work on, I absolutely love Burks’ potential in the NFL. But, yesterday, a little nugget about Burks dropped from Benjamin Solak by way of Alex Scarborough that just might have me changing my evaluation and shooting him up my draft board.
Treylon Burks WR1. Treylon Burks OVR1. Treylon Burks generational prospect.

Someone check on Dan Campbell, please. He probably fainted reading this. At the very least, he is the laser-eyed Vince McMahon meme in this very moment. If any of you wondered if there was a scenario here on Earth in which Burks ends up going #2 overall to the Detroit Lions, this is it. This is that pathway. Hell, Campbell might even try to trade up to #1 just to insure he gets this guy.
Taking a knife and a pack of dogs out into the wilderness to hunt wild boar sounds like some serious heavy duty real life shit. I don’t want to fuck with that, and I will do just about anything for the sake of the #content. Does it mention whether or not Burks is fully nude while he does this too? I don’t know why, but I would think if you were going to take things this far, why not Naked & Afraid this shit and do it buttass nekkid? Another question I would have is whether or not Burks and the dogs eat the wild boar right then and there, as I believe the laws of nature would dictate, or if Burks actually cooks it properly. I’m going to assume the most primal, barbaric practices in this situation.
“Using a gun takes the fun out of it.” Bro, WHAT!?! What fun is there in hunting a wild boar with your bare hands to begin with? There is hokey, tacky, phony “built different” like people say on social media with no basis to do so. And, then there is actually “built different,” and folks, I do believe that Burks is actually built different. This is a guy I think you want on your football team.
You can read my full report on Treylon Burks and how he would potentially fit in with the Tennessee Titans (the team I cover here on SoBros Network) here.
