Since I’m going to be out of office for the week, getting married, and celebrating the occasion with friends and family who have traveled literally from coast to coast to be here in Nashville with us, I didn’t want to just leave you high and dry with no SoBros Network content in my absence. So, over the course of the next week, I’ll be looking at and re-running some of my favorite shows, videos, and articles we’ve produced. Today, we’re going to look at the Nashville Creator Series.
Best of the Nashville Creator Series
Admittedly, I’m just starting out on the Nashville Creator Series here. There are only five episodes in the catalog. Even our best laid plans can go awry, and I’d be lying if I said this podcast has gotten off to the start I wanted it to. Launched in September of 2021, my original aim was to get one episode per month out, but as you can see, that hasn’t happened. Shit happens. I haven’t even gotten the branding done for this show yet! My plan was to get at least 15 episodes in the chamber and then start hitting the marketing trail with it. We went four months without an episode, and then I dropped three in a matter of two weeks. I get it – that’s some Grade A shit regularity. It’s been a mess in that regard.
But, it doesn’t take away from the heart of the project, and while the cadence and branding hasn’t been rounded out quite yet, I’ve still had five really good, really meaningful conversations with five very different creators from the Nashville area. We’ll eventually “get there” with the Nashville Creator Series, and I’ve hit ‘stop recording’ on each episode thinking, “wow – we’ve got something here.” That was the entire purpose of the series to begin with – to shine a lot on people creating cool shit in Nashville.
