Since I’m going to be out of office for the week, getting married, and celebrating the occasion with friends and family who have traveled literally from coast to coast to be here in Nashville with us, I didn’t want to just leave you high and dry with no SoBros Network content in my absence. So, over the course of the next week, I’ll be looking at and re-running some of my favorite shows, videos, and articles we’ve produced. Today, we’re going to look at the SoBros Power Hour.
Best of the SoBros Power Hour
The SoBros Power Hour is essentially what started it all for the SoBros (Podcast) Network all the way back in August of 2013. Hard to believe it’s been that long. But, here we are. Regardless of how inconsistent my cadence is on this show (I’m always trying to be better, I promise), we always seem to pull out a fun episode. Because of its light-hearted nature, it’s always one I look forward to doing, and we’ve had some great episodes so far this year. Here are a few of my favorites.
Ep. 59: One Night in Mobile – link – “Stoney and Steven take the SoBros Power Hour on the road this week to detail a difficult night in Mobile, Alabama as they’ve headed to the Gulf to cover the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Saturday.”
Ep. 60: Live Like Dolly – link – “Brittany Fernandez and Stoney Keeley chat about Dolly Parton, why they don’t trust rollercoasters anymore, the best budget restaurants in Nashville, Kevin Hart coming to Bridgestone Arena, Nashville being named the number one music city in America, and much more on this week’s SoBros Power Hour!”
Ep. 61: Big Stix Energy and a Cannabis Bar in Nashville – link – “RighteousJesse joins Stoney Keeley on this week’s SoBros Power Hour to talk Hutton & Smith’s collab with Five Wits on the release of Rewind or Die-PA, our favorite spots in Chattanooga, the big Stix sculpture, starting a business in Nashville, a new cannabis bar opening up in town, Eastside Bowl, hard Mountain Dew, and much more!”
Ep. 62: Should Jim Have Stayed With Karen Instead of Going to Pam? – link – “Longtime friend of the brand RHog joins Stoney Keeley to talk about a hot take he has on The Office – whether or not Jim was wise to leave Karen and end up with Pam, and whether or not Jim and Pam are actually good people. Then, the guys shift gears and talk about NHL’s Stadium Series here in Nashville, dropping off stolen guns at church, the “rideshare of garbage,” The Arcade, Homestead Festival, and more!”
Ep. 65: Owen’s Guide to New York City – link – “Stoney Keeley is joined by an Owen Reed that is stranded in travel purgatory on this week’s episode of the SoBros Power Hour. On it, Owen shares his adventures in New York City – from seeing Hamilton on Broadway to taking a dump at 30 Rock and getting stuck at La Guardia with 12 hours’ worth of people having their flights canceled. Yeah – this one’s a doozy.”
