Can Someone Check on Rob Moore This Morning?

Rob Moore just casually mentioned that Treylon Burks has asthma like that hasn't been guarded like Fort Knox for the last month.

Look, it’s June. I know it doesn’t take a whole lot to make news in the NFL world at this time of the year, but we had some pretty big news drop yesterday. Not to be dramatic, but I dare say a saga has ended. Fans of the Tennessee Titans can rest easy now, because we seem to have determined the cause of new Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks‘ departures from the practice field during OTAs. Thanks to wide receivers coach Rob Moore, we can now confirm that Burks has asthma. *gasp* *faints*

Say what? That’s it? This thing has been under wraps for like a month now. People have been guessing everything from asthma to witness protection on the internet. We had people on Titans Facebook saying Burks was already a bust because of this situation…that Jon Robinson has “made a mistake.” Titans Twitter was bordering on a full-on meltdown about this, although that’s not really a surprise if you pay attention to Titans Twitter. I kind of had a feeling it was asthma – I don’t know…something about an inhaler that might’ve tipped us off without having to have a coach spell it out for us in plain English. But, I’m not here to toot my own horn when it comes to my deductive reasoning skills.

I’m here because I fear what Mike Vrabel might do in light of this video hitting the internet. For whatever reason, coaches wanted to dodge the questions about why Burks was leaving the practice field. People have been acting like this is top secret information. I remember someone asking Burks about the inhaler or leaving the field or something, and his response was to ask Coach Vrabel about it. I remember someone asking Coach Vrabel about it, and him not really giving an answer about it.

So, it’s clear this regime wanted to keep this information in-house and now that’s out the window because of Rob Moore just casually letting everybody know that Burks does indeed have asthma. I just want someone to check on him, y’know? Like, is this going to be like Game of Thrones when they open up that moon pit gimmick and that spoiled brat king child takes a break from suckin’ tiddies to kick someone to their death? Is Rob Moore going to be fired over this like Cairo Santos was fired after missing four field goals against the Buffalo Bills? Inquiring minds want to know.

By the way, I like the “did you actually watch Arkansas?” takes when it comes to Burks (I believe the first time I heard that was from Braden Gall, so I’m giving him credit for it). Asthma didn’t seem to slow him down then, and while I understand that allergies are going to be different in different regions, I’m not concerned that it’ll have an effect on his play come the fall. With all due respect, people that are calling Burks a bust because he came off the field for a bit in fucking May are, no offense of course, fucking dumb.
