Some exciting news coming your way today if you’re over on the east side of town and happen to love good burgers and Detroit-style pizza. Emmy Squared is set to open their fourth location in the Nashville area in late June over on Main Street in East Nashville.

Nashville, TN (June 16, 2022) – Emmy Squared Pizza, the award-winning neighborhood pizza and burger restaurant, announces the arrival of its newest location in East Nashville in late June. The latest outpost of the beloved restaurant and its fourth location in Nashville will feature Emmy Squared’s classics including the famous burgers including Le Matt Burger, voted the Best Burger in Nashville, Detroit-style pizzas, delicious salads, delectable shareable appetizers, as well as cocktails, wine, and beer. Located at 1000 Main Street on the corner of Main and South 10th Streets in East Nashville neighborhood with a buzzing food and nightlife scene, Emmy Squared will encompass 2,500 square feet of dining space with 65 seats. The East Nashville outpost of Emmy Squared will feature exclusive menu items and offerings celebrating the lively neighborhood.

It’s been years since my wife and I first gave Emmy Squared a shot, and to this day, it remains in our regular “above average date night” rotation. They do pizza well. They do burgers well. Hell, the last time I went, they even did hot chicken well. And, that’s not even mentioning the fries (holy shit, the fries…) or the cocktails. Personally, I think the vibes will be just right over on Main Street. My location of choice right now is the Green Hills Emmy Squared. Just love that you can kind of sneak in the back way to Green Hills (coming from Mount Juliet), dine, and then take in the mall or maybe even a movie afterwards. But, you just can’t beat the red hot East Nashville vibes these days, and I can absolutely see Emmy Squared thriving over there.
It’s also worth noting, as a sort of double dose of Emmy Squared news today, that they’ve recently released “The Streetbird,” a collaboration with chef Marcus Samuelsson in honor of Father’s Day: “Detroit-style pizza topped with julienned collard greens, calabrian chili, crispy chicken, pecorino cheese and Chef Marcus’ signature Streetbird Honey.” This bad boy will be available through mid-July:
