It’s the offseason, and our 2022 #OffseasonContent plan is in full swing. Last week, we talked about the history between the Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans as one of the AFC’s more slept-on rivalries to kick off this campaign, and this week, we’re shifting gears and talking about the instances, albeit few and far between, of our beloved Titans showing up in American pop culture history.

As usual in conversations like this one, the Titans are a little tricky because they are a smaller market team without a vaunted history at the forefront of Americana. It’s not like people are wearing Titans jerseys by the thousands in movies and film. But, to me, that makes it much more interesting to look back and really scrape to find those examples. Some of the things we chat about, from celebrity Titans fans to Titans in film and television, are rather obscure. And, yet – somehow we manage to get a full 45 minutes out of the discussion. Maybe that’s more of a testament to mine and Owen’s ability to spit out hot air – regardless, we hope you guys will tag along with us as we dive into Titans history this summer.
