Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…

Question:

Answer:

Man, now THAT is a deep cut right there! We’re going back to the heyday of Cartoon Network and Dexter’s Laboratory. I mean, you have Monkey, who is the strongest superhero in the world….and you have Rasslor, an intergalactic superhuman….I think either would mop the floor with Roman Reigns’ ass.

Question:

Answer:

The first show that came to mind was the Batista vs. Great Khali SummerSlam in 2007. I had to look up the rest of the card and yeah, I think I’m sticking with that answer. Outside of a fun little triple threat between Umaga, Carlito, and Mr. Kennedy, and a CM Punk vs. John Morrison ECW Championship match, there was nothing on that show that has stood the test of time for a good reason. I mean, maybe Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero was good, but how many times had we seen that before that match? A 21-minute John Cena-Randy Orton main event did nothing for me, and I swear…I’m racking my brain to even remember a single thing about that match.

I remember being surprised by how much I didn’t like King Booker vs. Triple H, and Batista and Great Khali just absolutely stunk the joint up. I remember that being a SummerSlam I watched once, and never cared to watch again.

Keep the questions coming – catch y’all next week!
