We’ve all been there before. Our nerves are getting the best of us, or we’re really anxious about something we’re about to do, and what ends up happening is that our brains completely shit the bed and we do something that makes no sense. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve panicked and said the wrong thing, or done the wrong thing. But, one thing that I can’t say I’ve done is get so mixed up at the top of a water slide that I held my nose and dove into it.

I just…I…I don’t know what the plan here was. I don’t know where the wires crossed to the point that she thought she was just going to dive into the water. Has anyone ever taught her what a water slide is? Like, you gotta be a little more patient than that. Or, if you’re going to jump off the top of it, you have to clear the slide. Friends, I want to understand the thinking here.
You just can’t beat a good water slide fail video, though. It’s as quintessentially summer as cookouts, margaritas, and of course, Yankee Candle’s Coconut Bay and Midsummer’s Night fragrances. But, for this one, it’s not as simple as goofin’ up. There are layers to this – there’s some incomprehensible psychology at play here. Why did this happen? How did no one notice it around her? Also, we have to give props to whoever was filming this – it’s the catch of a lifetime. In case you wonder why I always have my phone out when we’re chilling, it’s so I can be ready to get your brain shitting the bed on camera at all times. Also, it’s worth mentioning that this might not even be the best water slide video of the last 30 days. That honor could very well go to, and I wouldn’t argue with ya ’bout it:
