I don’t know when we’ll ever get a travel piece on San Diego written or broadcast on SoBros Network. That’s a side of the country that we just plain don’t frequent. There’s an episode of Phone It In on San Francisco in the archives, but otherwise, most of our travel stuff is out here around the south and east coast. So, with Rooster based out of San Diego, I had to pick her brain about the vibe out there, things to do, etc. before she packs up and moves across the country. I can confirm that travel plans to San Diego are most definitely NOT in the cards for SoBros Network at this time.
After that, we shift gears and get into our usual Power Hour rhythm. We talk about our favorite things to do beyond Broadway in Nashville. We cover the Red Hot Chili Peppers show from Nissan Stadium and discuss the band’s greatest hits. There’s the new jail that’s opening up on Broadway, too – that was in the headlines last week. Nashville Shakespeare Festival, the official unofficial end of summer, is going down again. There’s more ‘work from home’ talk, a legendary cemetery brawl, and of course, some splooting to boot. It’s a doozy of an episode.
