Fall does not technically begin until the 22nd of September, but the fall music festival calendar begins this Saturday in Nashville with the return of the Outloud Music Festival. The festival, which began in 2017, was created to celebrate LGBTQI+ artists and the community as a whole. Previous incarnations of the event have included Kim Petras, Japanese Breakfast, Soccer Mommy, Bully, and so many more.

This year’s all-ages show will take place at the Festival Grounds at Main Event Parking on James Robertson Parkway and will feature two stages full of entertainment. The new addition to the festival is the OUTstage Presented by Jack Daniels that will feature show stopping drag performances as well as sets from local artists and, for the first time ever, a Silent Disco. The LOUDstage Presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka will feature the national acts headlining the festival.

Scottish pop band Chvrches will headline the event on the LOUDstage. The synth-pop group best known for their hits “The Mother We Share” and the Marshmello collaboration “Here with Me” will take the stage at 9:45 to close out the festival and will certainly perform songs from their 2021 release Screen Violence.

Australian singer-songwriter and co-star of Conjuring Kesha will also perform on the LOUDstage along with LA-based singers Lauren Sanderson and Slayyyter and Brooklyn-duo Daisy the Great. Everything kicks off on the LOUDstage with Nashville-based pop singer Mad Wesley. The “What’s the Deal?” singer will certainly get the festival goers in the mood to dance early with her infectious retro-pop sound. The LOUDstage is hosted by drag artists Britney Banks and Venus Ann Serena and will feature DJ AAzera and DJ Griffin Green throughout the day to help keep the party vibes going in between artists.

The OUTstage will be hosted by the talented Cya Inhale and Vidalia Ann Gentry, and will be headlined by drag performances from Pandora Boxx and Jiggly Caliente. There will be no shortage of live music on the OUTstage. The stage will feature three amazing female artist who all call Nashville home. Alt-RNB singer Ysa kicks things off at 2:30 before turning the stage over to indie-pop singer Rosemary Joaquin. Acoustic-pop and multi-instrumentalist Hallie closes out the live music on the OUTstage.

Live music and drag performances are not all there is to experience at Outloud. There will be the Silent Disco, interactive art installations, unique vendors, custom cocktails, and plenty of food to fill you up. Tickets can still be purchased through Outloud’s website, and VIP tickets that include access to a VIP lounge and bar with unique drinks plus unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, free parking, and much more are still available.
