To a gem of my Funko Pop collection
You’ve served our house well over the last five years.
Your vinyl stature. Your Earthy tones.
Trees leaves and twigs.
Legend of the Lord of the Rings.
But now we must part ways, for I have learned that you are currently selling for $80 on eBay.
Goodbyes are hard, but we must look at what could be.
We were always destined to part
Namely because I don’t want to retire with this exhaustive pop collection.
Nor do I want to die and leave my loved ones to sort through it all.
But, also because the hope for every member of my collection is for them to get vaulted and the price to skyrocket.
You have been one of my favorite fall decorations. But, I can place a lot of bets on football games this season with that $80.
