Broncos at Titans: Week 10 Spread & DFS Gambling Preview (2022)

Introduction

The Titans (5-3) had won five straight games before a 20-17 overtime defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs. Tennessee’s defense demonstrated why many fans had projected them as a top-five unit heading into the season. Unfortunately, an inexperienced quarterback and ineffective stable of wide receivers kept Tennessee from pulling out a win that would’ve put them in the conversation for getting a No. 1 seed. At 5-3, Tennessee still has a two-game division lead in the wins column. They’re hoping Ryan Tannehill returns from a two-game absence that’s due to an ankle injury.

The Broncos (3-5) lost four straight games before they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars during a Week 8 London matchup. Fresh off a bye week, Denver will try to keep their slim playoff hopes alive when they face the Titans in what’s expected as a very low scoring affair. Currently, the over/under is set at -36.5. This indicates a 20-17ish type of game.

Key Injuries

NFL Injury Report

Broncos at Titans: Best Bet, DFS Picks

UNDER -37.5 or higher

Watch the injury report on whether key Titans players (e.g. Ryan Tannehill, Jeffery Simmons) play. I’d say -37.5 is the cutoff because a 20-17 score is a 37 total. I wouldn’t expect both teams to reach 20 points. Neither team has enough offensive firepower to have much success against the other team’s defense. Both teams should run the ball and eat clock.

I’ll point out one thing: These teams COMBINE to score 10.1 points per second half (Titans 4.1, Broncos 6.0).

Derrick Henry

Will Tennessee face enough scoring opportunities to make Henry worth the play? He’ll certainly get enough usage. My guess is a minimum of 25 touches.
