It's time for another installment of the fabled SEC Championship Drinking Game here on SoBros Network.

Well, well, well – here we are. It seems like only yesterday we were gearing up for Labor Day and the start of another college football season. Yet, here we are – the 2022 SEC Championship is on deck between the LSU Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs! That can mean only one thing – it’s time for another patented SoBros Network drinking game!

Georgia is currently favored by a whopping 18.5 points, which I can’t believe I’m typing for a SEC Championship. But, it’s a testament to how good Georgia has been, and it’s also a testament to the notion that hey…maybe LSU did get a little bit of luck in getting here. While the Bulldogs defense lost a lot of talent to the NFL, they’ve simply reloaded, and the offense has some major play-makers to boot. I like Georgia a lot in this game, but they could also end up in coast mode…one of those games in which they jump out 24-0 and then let LSU hit the back door cover on a 4th quarter touchdown because they were playing the backups. That sort of thing is keeping me from touching this spread.

Nonetheless, ESPN’s match-up predictor is currently giving Georgia an 83% chance to win this game, with a point total set at over/under 52.5 points. That said, you never know what can happen in big time games such as this one. So, let’s get to it – the 2022 SEC Championship Drinking Game is HERE!

2021 SEC CHAMPIONSHIP DRINKING GAME

TAKE A DRINK IF/WHEN…

  • Somebody scores a touchdown. Hell, let’s just get drunk – it’s the last game of the season.
  • Anyone mentions the “NFL talent” on the field for this game. Also, count “[insert player name will be playing on Sundays” as well.
  • You hear the term “playoff chances.”
  • Someone mentions Alabama or Nick Saban. Double drink if it’s combined with how shocking it is that Alabama isn’t in the SEC Championship! Let’s piss everyone off and still make this game about Alabama…
  • Likewise for “Notre Dame.”
  • There’s a turnover by either team.
  • There’s a sack by either team.
  • There’s a defensive/special teams touchdown.
  • The lead changes.
  • Stetson Bennett and ‘Heisman’ are mentioned in the same sentence.
  • Jayden Daniels completes a pass.
  • Any Alabama pass catcher catches a 20+ yard pass. Take two drinks if it’s actually a wide receiver.
  • Brock Bowers converts a first down.
  • A different Georgia running back from the running back before him carries the ball. In other words, drink every time Georgia switches running backs.
  • Kenny McIntosh catches a pass or rushes for 10+ yards.
  • Georgia allows a point above 14. That is to say, take one drink for every point the Georgia defense allows past 14 points. If they allow 17 points, that’s three drinks.

TAKE A SHOT IF/WHEN…

  • Either team scores 40 points.
  • This game hits the over.
  • Kirby Smart throws his headset.
  • The show highlights from the 2019 SEC Championship.
  • There’s any mention of Coach O.

It’s been real, SEC fans. Another fun season is in the books. Wild how time flies. As usual, stay safe and drink responsibly out there. Remember, if you drink don’t drive do the watermelon crawl.
