Two years after The Father came out and yielded a ‘Best Actor’ award for Anthony Hopkins at the Oscars (along with a ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’ win to boot), Florian Zeller is back with The Son, a prequel to the 2020 effort that brought home two Academy Award wins.
