There’s a lot to get into on this week’s episode of The Unofficial Titans Podcast. I start by somewhat addressing the “Ryan Tannehill to the Jets” rumors, though you can hear me really dive into those on the latest episode of Sports Punch. Then, I’ll shift gears and talking about the hiring of Justin Outten as the Titans’ new running backs coach and run game coordinator, how his presence seemed to lift the Broncos offense, and more specifically, their run game in the two weeks he was tasked with calling the plays after Denver ousted Nathaniel Hackett. I like the staff that Mike Vrabel is assembling right now because it’s brought a few fresh new perspectives into the building while also littering his staff with potential coordinators on down the line.
We’re getting into mock draft silly season, so I spent some time breaking down a couple notable mock drafts I saw this week, one bringing my feelings on Peter Skoronski to the surface, and another that had the Titans taking tight end Dalton Kincaid at #11 overall. Yeah – that one had me scratching my head a little bit. I wrap up this week’s episode by chatting about the XFL and some of the things I’ve been working on here on SoBros Network dot com this week. If you missed it earlier in the week, how about you fire this bad boy up on your way home from work? TGIF.
