It's lunch time on a Friday. The SoBros Mailbag is here!

Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…

Question:

Answer:

I’m leaning Jackson and Simmons. I know it’s going to be awfully hard to keep a couple of max contracts like that on the roster over the course of the next several years, but hot damn, wouldn’t it be nice? My only concern with Jackson would be injuries, but I’m not in the camp that He’S a RuNnInG bAcK pLaYiNg QuArTeRbAcK. I think he’d be a great addition. I’d rather have a couple of sure things, and be strapped for cash, than to roll the dice on what first round picks MIGHT materialize into.

Question:

Answer:

  1. Bryce Young – All the polish you want in a quarterback…ready for the NFL…the only concern is his frame, and it hasn’t been an issue playing behind NFL-sized offensive lines at Alabama.
  2. CJ Stroud – I need to do more film study, but on the surface, I like the placement and accuracy.
  3. Anthony Richardson – The upside is massive, and I don’t think the downside is as dire as some think. Work on those happy feet and consistent mechanics, and you’ve got something.
  4. Will Levis – I like Levis’ ability to throw NFL balls, but man, from what I watched, he was operating about a second behind everyone else on the field. To me, he’s EJ Manuel – flashes of a big time arm, but some concerning inconsistency.
  5. Clayton Tune – Of all the “upside” guys in the draft, I like Tune the best. I noticed him scanning the field at the Senior Bowl than any other quarterback there. I like the accuracy on the short-to-mid-range stuff. He can make some off-platform throws, and his athletic traits are fantastic. He might actually stick somewhere.

Question, from McCash on Instagram:

How far do the Grizz go if Morant is suspended for the rest of the year?

Answer:

Oh boy….this is the question, isn’t it? This is a really good and deep, talented Grizzlies team. In terms of pure talent, it may be the most talented we’ve ever seen. But, a huge part of that is the massive star power of Morant and his ability to take over a game. With him in the lineup and healthy, this is a team that should contend for a championship. But without him….does this team get to the Western Conference Finals? I don’t know.

Question:

Answer:

As far as I see it, it’ll either happen or it won’t. Therefore, it’s a 50% chance. I’d say there’s a 50% chance that the Red Sox win every single game this season.
