Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on a fragrance that harks back wonderfully to the days of Autumn Woods, Autumn Nature Walk.
Tis the season – whether you call it “late late summer” or “early early fall,” it makes no difference to me. You have my full permission to start busting out the season’s best fragrances. I love the fresh, Earthy stuff this time of year…be it the ambiguous “fresh” smells or the “dead leaves” smells…it works for me. I’m not leaning into the pumpkin and cinnamon stuff quite yet, but it’s getting close to that time of the year. Autumn Nature Walk hits all the right notes for late August into September – it’s woody, there’s a little bit of damp soil under a bed of dead leaves, and there’s even a hint of spice in this thing to boot.
Recommended Burning: You just finished up the latest mow – the grass is starting to die in the dry spell of late summer…you wonder to yourself how many more mows you will have to do before you can put the lawnmower away for the season. There’s a slight crisp chill in the evening air – it’s not cool, but it’s not the relentless summer heat you’ve grown used to. The dry grass crumbles under your feet, and the smell of smoke from a nearby bonfire fills the air. You can’t help but think that Autumn is on the horizon, so you light up Autumn Nature Walk and pour an ice cold Oktoberfest beer.
