Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…
Question:
Besides the native apps, you can only have 5 apps on your phone. What are you choosing?
— new year, same brett (@thebrettclark) January 18, 2024
Answer:
Man…I don’t even know if I use five apps total! I had to pull up my phone and double check. I’d say Spotify for sure because I almost always have something playing throughout the day. FanDuel, so I can make my stupid little sports bets. I’d say Twitter because as much shit as I talk about that app, I just can’t quit it. I’d say my bank app so that I know how much money I have on me at all times. The last one comes down to Instagram and Tik Tok, but I find myself going for long spells without even checking Tik Tok these days. So, I’m going with Instagram, my bank app, Twitter, FanDuel, and Spotify.
Question:
If you could trade AAS for another current NFL owner, who would you want?
— Robby Aces (@RobbyAces) January 18, 2024
Answer:
You know…I’ve kind of cooled off on my skepticism of AAS. I was initially mad because I thought she allowed this mess to fester, but the more information we learn, it sounds to me like Mike Vrabel had his hand in this all the same. I think you can make a strong case that AAS has a vision for this franchise, and that the firing of Vrabel was not just a reactionary deal. If that’s the case, I’m willing to be a little patient here and see how this all plays out. But, to answer your question…gun to my head…I think I’d go Stan Kroenke. He has assembled quite the team in LA between the front office and coaching staff. Smart guy doing smart guy things, and he’s loaded.
Question:
Alt, Fashanu or the field for the Titans at #7?
— Goody (@real_goody) January 18, 2024
Answer:
I’m still on Team Alt for now, Goody, but let me present you with this scenario if the Titans miss out on both of those tackles….which would you rather have? JC Latham and Brian Thomas Jr.? Or, Malik Nabers and Jordan Morgan?
Question, from Olivia on Instagram:
What is your most used kitchen gadget? I got a veggie chopper for Christmas and it is *mind blowing emoji*
Answer:
We have one of those little avocado tools that you can use to cut ’em open, pull the pit out, AND slice it. We eat a lot of avocados so it comes in handy all the time. I hate wrestling with avocados. If it’s not that, it’s probably the milk frother for all of the lattes we drink.
