It’s always good to get our resident film critic, Brandon Vick, and the EIC over at 615 Film, Sean Atkins, together to discuss a movie. The latest conversation centers around Jeff Nichols’ latest effort, The Bikeriders. Personally, I’ve seen a couple of Nichols flicks in Mud and Midnight Special, and think that both were hidden gems of the last decade. The Bikeriders looks like another solid showing, and from the spoiler-free sounds of it, Brandon and Sean agree. With a strong cast that includes Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, and Michael Shannon, it’s hard NOT to get excited about this flick. I’m actually on my way to see it after I finish typing this blurb up. While I can’t wait to revisit the latest episode of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast after seeing it, you guys don’t have to wait.
