Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, we’re talking about one of the classics, Willow Breeze.
Willow Breeze rules. Believe me, I’ll give the scent it’s flowers. But first, I have to celebrate a miraculous achievement. I moseyed on in to my local Yankee Candle out here in Mount Juliet during a sale they were having recently. I had some coupons, and I had a little money burning a hole in my pocket. We loaded up on summer fragrances…so much so that we had to work a fall candle in as the sixth because we knew there was no way we’d burn them all this summer. Lo and behold, I look over and notice there’s a Willow Breeze on the shelf that has the old style label…the G.O.A.T. style label, in my opinion. Yes, it was a glorious day. Finding those makes me not even want to burn ’em. It just goes to show you that like Willy Wonka and his golden ticket, you just never know what you’re going to find at your local Yankee Candle. That’s why I’ll always advocate for actually going to the store instead of ordering online.
Anyway, Willow Breeze is awesome – it features the fresh, comforting scent that makes for a good summertime fragrance. But, on the back end, you get some of the Earthy goodness…like the wind picked up the scent of the tree and blew it in your face. In between, there’s the slightest bit of sweetness. It’s not fruity, which is something I usually like at this time of the year, but it’s a freshness that hits with the same peacefulness as the breeze on a lazy summer’s day.
Recommended Burning: You’ve just made sweet, sweet love. The hot July moon saw everything. There might’ve even been some strawberry wine involved. You light Willow Breeze to commemorate the evening.
