Podcast: Reviewing Borderlands and Eli Roth’s Filmography

ICYMI: Brandon and Stoney reviewed Borderlands on the latest episode of The Vick's Flicks Podcast!

Well, folks – I’m here to report that I might have seen the worst movie I’ll see this year. Borderlands got half a star from me with little to no redeeming qualities. Sometimes, the movie looked cool, and listen…Cate Blanchett certainly seemed to be having fun…but that’s about as far as I’m willing to go in praise of this movie. It had a cheesy script, and the story couldn’t get out of its own way…just one contrived moment after the other. So, Brandon and I hopped on the mics to record a brand new episode of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast to discuss it. We also took the opportunity to discuss Eli Roth’s brand as a filmmaker, the chances he’s taken in genres outside of horror, and what his best movie is.

This episode of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast is brought to you by Memo’s Mexican Kitchen in Mount Juliet, Tennessee! Memo’s offers a fresh, modern take on the Mexican restaurant just a mile north of I-40 off of the Mount Juliet exit. For my money, they cook up the best quesabirria in town!
