Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…

Question:

Answer:

I love seeing bears in the wild. I’ve seen a few in Gatlinburg now, and I get excited every time. I guess that is my spirit animal – I love the idea of spending my days lounging around in the forest and coming into town to rummage through the trash at night.

Question:

Answer:

Dude, I hate it. It is September 20th, ffs! Can we please get some cooler weather? We’re going to have to deal with temps in the NINETIES this weekend. FML – I don’t see 70 in the forecast for 11 more days. When will it end?

Question:

Answer:

Man, there have been so many throughout the years that I’ve loved. I really respect and appreciate the art of stand up comedy. I’ve taken a stab at writing a bit myself. Maybe it’ll see the light of day one day, but it’s an influential art form on me for sure. In that spirit, I’d have to say Mitch Hedberg is the guy that got me to look at comedy through a different lens – he was so out there, and yet a lot of his punchlines tied up a joke in a way that felt grounded and down to Earth. It was surreal.

Question:

Answer:

I think ‘jamoke’ is worse, because I have to stop and look up what that means and then I just feel stupid.
