Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, hit us with those mailbag questions @SoBrosNetwork on Twitter, email ’em to me anonymously at thesobrosnetwork@gmail.com. And, holy shit, I need to update this terrible intro paragraph that I’ve been using literally ever since I started writing this column…

Question, from Ryan on Instagram:

Where the hell do people store these 12 foot skeletons 11 months of the year?!

Answer:

Easy. They bury them in the ground and dig them up the next October.

Question:

Answer:

The whole thing is so funny in retrospect. We had to talk ourselves into it by watching the tape and thinking, “oh, well maybe they didn’t exactly sign him to actually play safety – maybe he’s just going to be the dime linebacker, blitz, and defend the flat!

And, he couldn’t even do that shit right for the Titans:

Question:

Answer:

Eddie, I’m super simple. All I need is the Smoky Mountains, my MacBook so I can write, a few good restaurants to venture out to at night, and a good hotel bar. That’s all – I run pretty hot, but I don’t need much vacation time. Just give me a few days off every six months or so and I’m set.

Question:

Answer:

If you feel like combing through it, I have my 100 favorite fragrances ranked here. It needs to be updated, but it’s current enough. I also have it broken up into fall-only candles here. For this time of year, my particular recommendations would be Mountain Lodge, Woodland Road Trip, Autumn Nature Walk, and Campfire Cocktail.

Question:

Answer:

It’s a really interesting mixture of fans because Nashville is such a centrally located city and it doesn’t have any team of its own. It felt like growing up here in the 90s, it all depended on which stadiums you could easily drive to and who was actually on the TV. Naturally, I saw it as primarily an Atlanta Braves city when I was younger – they were good at the time and all their games came on TBS if I’m not mistaken. Cincinnati and St. Louis were nearby, so I always saw a lot of Reds and Cardinals fans. And, I can’t remember what stations they came on, but we got all of the Chicago games (both Cubs and White Sox) on television. Of course, similar to how there are Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers fans here too, there were also a ton of Yankees fans. It’s a bit of a melting pot of a baseball market, but I’d lean Braves, Reds, Cubs, and Cardinals as the teams I see the most represented around town.

Keep the questions coming – catch y’all next week!
