Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, we’re trying to figure out just wtf to do with Woodland Weekend Memories.
Is it dark amber and coconut milk? Or, is it vanilla and patchouli? Who can really tell the difference? That’s the beauty of Woodland Weekend Memories. I feel it’s one of those season-less candles…one that doesn’t have a particular time of year it’s beholden to….Smoked Vanilla & Cashmere…Mountain Lodge…fragrances of that ilk. Even though this was marketed as a fall candle and released in the fall and I totally botched that by thinking it was a summer candle and recording this video for July….I’m definitely not just committing to the bit. I definitely think this is a year-round candle.
Also, between burping, crashing out, and pulling a stray hair out of my mouth, this may be the most unhinged episode of Yankee Candle Reviews yet. But, sometimes, that’s the best type of journalism. This is a good one to pick up if you see it on the clearance shelf at the nearest Yankee Candle.
Recommended Burning: For a brief moment, you catch yourself admiring the sunset and thinking about the peace you feel in your heart. You’ve spent the day on the lake, swimming, fishing, and tubing. Your partner mentioned how graceful and distinguished the gray in your hair makes you look, which you know is code for “I want to fuck the shit out of you,” and you figure it’s probably going to happen tonight. And, for just a second…in between soaking your shoes and soaking the bed sheets…you feel gratitude for a life you’ve always wanted. You see a sparkle in the sky. You feel a sparkle in your heart. Now, it’s time to go fuck your partner and light up Woodland Weekend Memories.
