Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, we’re digging into this new Yankee Candle rebrand, starting with Autumn Abundance.
Alright, time to start digging into this Yankee Candle rebrand! I have three bonus editions of Yankee Candle Reviews this season. Today, we’re talking about Autumn Abundance. In the coming weeks, we’ll hit Rustling Rain and Sweet Togetherness as well. I just haven’t been able to get into these new labels just yet. They look too bland…too clean and unoriginal…too “basic bitch.” The new soy/paraffin wax hybrid looks like Play-Doh. I miss the marbling of the old wax. It used to be that you could just look at a candle and tell it was a Yankee Candle. These rebranded candles look like something drawn up by AI. I don’t know – maybe they’ll grow on me, but I’m certainly not feeling it so far. The ones I’ve tried so far don’t throw nearly as well as the older candles do. So, I don’t know what I’m going to do here – dark times in my Yankee Candle fandom for sure. As far as Autumn Abundance goes, it smells like every single fall scent ever created put together with a sprinkle of cocoa on top. It’s good, but it’s intense.
Recommended Burning: Fall is here. You can’t get enough of it. You want to inject it into your veins. You’ve put out all the pumpkin decorations and the house feels like the Vermont mountains in October, but it’s still not enough. You’re high on cocaine. You need something to fill every sense you have with fall. You light Autumn Abundance.
