As we continue to wind down for the year here on SoBros Network, I’m looking back on some of my favorite podcasts that we’ve done in 2025. Today, we’re headed over to the Nashville Movie Dispatch archives for a look at my favorite episodes of Drinking With… this year!
The Best of Drinking With…, 2025
Ep. 67: Collateral – Apple Podcasts – It’s never NOT worth a rewatch. I mean, this is one of Tom Cruise’s absolute best roles and that is saying something. There’s something cosmic about this movie that I didn’t catch when I watched it for the first time as a young man that made me enjoy it even more.
Ep. 68: The Incredibles – Apple Podcasts – Like many a good children’s movie, there’s plenty of hidden humor and easter eggs for the adults that you might not pick up on unless you’re of a certain age. I don’t think I caught them all in 2004, so it was fun to relive this movie for that aspect alone.
Ep. 70: Napoleon Dynamite – Apple Podcasts – Maybe this one didn’t age as well as I’d hoped, but man, what a moment in time it was. This film caught fire in the summer of 2004 and became one of the most quotable cult classics of all time.
Ep. 72: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind – Apple Podcasts – A true testament to the importance of revisiting old movies as you get older. A wealth of life experiences for me between 2004 and now made this re-watch hit me like a ton of bricks.
Ep. 73: Mean Girls – Apple Podcasts – Another quotable classic, we could sit around and recite lines from Mean Girls all day.
