I don’t want to even remotely pretend to be a boating expert. That is the chief reason that I don’t ever want to own a boat. I just don’t want that responsibility. Same reason I don’t want a motorcycle. I am 100% sure that if I were to ever get on a motorcycle, it would probably mean my demise. But, this kinda shit deserves to be respected and taken seriously. I don’t think just anyone should be able to hop in a boat and make it go. Case in point – these gentlemen who appear to be joyriding around the harbor when they hit some choppy waves. The result? Granny, who was just minding her own damn business and enjoying the sun, gets put in a spin cycle for the ages.

I just can’t believe y’all would do this to that poor woman. Y’all should’ve known as soon as she flinched when the water splashed on her that this was not going to end well. You’re supposed to take care of your loved ones…not completely hang ’em out to dry in the front of a boat without a seatbelt. I have no Earthly idea what the driver was thinking here, either. Must’ve just had some of that real “fuck it” energy. Again – I’m no boating expert – but you would think you’d have to see these waves coming, right? You would think that maybe the driver would want to take it a little bit easier, but no – this man was just going to force that boat right through it, granny be damned. For all the beach and the internet to see, no less.
Also, I want to ask a serious question here for a minute, too. I’m not sure why the OP went with Usher’s “Yeah!” to serve as backdrop to this action. But, will it help bring “Yeah!” back for another summer? You know how that song had like five phases…we liked it, then we loved it, then we were obsessed with it, then we hated it, then we kinda liked and appreciated it again. Maybe after the last 17 years, this video will have the power to give this anthem one more run. Anyway, we love you granny, and we hope you’re doing okay. Someone needed to say it.
