Ah, yes – my favorite time of the year! Football season. If you’ve kept up with our work here on SoBros Network and Nashville Movie Dispatch throughout the years, you already know that we’re a pretty festive bunch. On Movie Review Rewind, I’m pretty sure we’ve talked about a football movie each September for the last five years or so. One that kept popping up as we sifted through Rudy and Remember the Titans alike was Any Given Sunday. We finally decided to feature it, and I can honestly say it was a bit of a fever dream to relive. Is it overly ambitious? Sure. Is there way too much story crammed into this film? Absolutely. But, man – it has some of the most intense football action of any football movie I’ve watched. This one made for a good discussion between Brandon and me.
