I don’t care what anyone says about their $12 beers and gin and tonics that cost a kidney. HQ Beercade is one of the best bars downtown, especially for those of us who are C O M P L E T E L Y over the cowboy boots and country music bullshit of Broadway. It is one of two…maybe three (point is, it’s a short list)…places downtown that I actually don’t mind going, kicking back, and having a few drinks.
That’s why it’s so disturbing to me to wake up this morning and read that some lady set the fuckin’ wall on fire last night for no apparent reason!
According to the affidavit, officers found Caroline Bradley, 29, standing in front of a plywood wall that witnesses said she set on fire.
Employees showed officers security footage that shows Bradley standing next to the wall, lighting a piece of cardboard, then setting the wall on fire.
Who is this woman and what the fuck does she have against HQ Beercade?
I don’t know who does this – who just thinks, “I should light this wall on fire?” Maybe it was a dare – maybe someone said, “hey Caroline, BET YOU WON’T SET THE WALL ON FIRE,” and Caroline was like, “bitch I’m Caroline Bradley don’t test me,” and POOF – here we are. If it’s the latter, then Caroline your friends are assholes and you need to replace them with better people. If it’s the former, then you need to seek professional medical help.
On second thought, maybe THIS is how they introduce mutants to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s all a publicity stunt in Marvel’s conquest to take over the world.
Doesn’t it kinda sound like a scene from one of the X-Men movies? Caroline Bradley is a really powerful mutant, she just doesn’t quite understand it yet. She can’t control her powers and the next thing you know, she’s setting walls on fire.
I don’t know, but man – I’m glad no one was seriously hurt and I’m glad that HQ is still standing this morning. Good luck to all involved. Roll Tide.
