NFL Power Rankings: Week 14 2019

Welcome in to a new feature we are trying out here on SoBros Network because we were recently approved to be on Google News (YUGE win, LFG), and I am testing whether or not it’s worth doing these sorts of power rankings for the SEO. Yes, that’s the entire basis for this set of NFL Power Rankings.

For me, it’s pretty simple. I’m just looking at wins and losses, and I’m looking at the eye test to determine my top 10 teams in the NFL each week. LFG.

NFL POWER RANKINGS: WEEK 14 2019

1. Baltimore Ravens (10-2) – The king stay the king. The Ravens’ win streak survived against the 49ers in what could have been a preview of this year’s Super Bowl. They travel to Buffalo this week for a big time AFC showdown.

2. Seattle Seahawks (10-2) – With that win over the Vikings and the 49ers losing to the Ravens, the Seahawks are now in the driver’s seat in the NFC West. They travel to Los Angeles for a Sunday Night Football showdown with the Rams.

3. San Francisco 49ers (10-2) – These Niners have some grit, make no mistake about it. Even though they lost to the Ravens, they played a competitive game and have been consistently great all season. This is still a team that could make some noise come January. They travel to New Orleans for a huge game with the Saints on Sunday.

4. New Orleans Saints (10-2) – With all the talk about the Ravens, Seahawks, and 49ers, the Saints have somewhat quietly cruised to 10-2. Right now, they own the top seed in the NFC, and after beating the Falcons on Sunday, have clinched the NFC South. They host the 49ers this week.

5. New England Patriots (10-2) – There’s something seriously wrong in New England. It feels like I say this at some point every season, only for the Pats to turn it on in the playoffs. But, it really feels like this offense is a liability. They won’t get much of a chance to sort things out, as they have a date with the explosive Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

6. Green Bay Packers (9-3) – 13-3 isn’t out of the question for the Packers. They host Washington this week, and if Aaron Rodgers can keep playing like he did against the Giants on Sunday, this team will be just fine.

7. Houston Texans (8-4) – Just a few weeks ago, this Texans team was blown out by the Ravens. The team that beat the Pats on Sunday Night Football looks like a completely different unit. This is a team that could make a run in the AFC. They host the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

8. Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) – The Chiefs defense has played much better in the last couple of games. If they can continue to complement the offense, the Chiefs could become a legitimate contender in the AFC. We’ll find out just how far along they are when they play the Patriots this Sunday.

9. Buffalo Bills (9-3) – Who knows what to make of this Bills team?!?! All I know is that if they keep playing the way they did against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, they’re going to be damn fun to watch. They play the Ravens this Sunday in a huge game.

10. Minnesota Vikings (8-4) – Tough loss in prime time to the Seahawks, and Kirk Cousins is now 0-8 on Monday Night Football. Yikes. To make matters worse, don’t look now, but the Los Angeles Rams are only a game behind the Vikings in the wild card race.

CURRENT SUPER BOWL PREDICTION

Ravens over Seahawks – Still riding this pick for several weeks in a row now. This Ravens team just looks unstoppable, and everyone else in the AFC has some major question marks. Oddly enough, the Tennessee Titans look like the second best team in the AFC the last couple of games. So, I think it’ll be an easy route to the Super Bowl for the Ravens. The Seahawks have the magic of Russell Wilson on their side. They just find ways to win and have some real championship experience on their side.
