Maybe I’m still in a mood from the Oscars taking place on Sunday, but I’ve found myself on several occasions this week just admiring and appreciating the art of performance. So, when I saw this crazy squirrel video, I couldn’t help myself. I had to stand and applaud in my living room for such a dramatic and enthralling turn of events.

At first, you think this is just going to be one of those funny reaction videos. Someone’s freaking out about a squirrel that isn’t there, so our guy here comes in to investigate.
The man with the camera, on whomst (big time journalism word) the squirrel pounces, is the performance here that really knocks it out of the park. Get that man on the Oscars stage next year. He really makes you believe that “Suse” is just acting out of line and there’s nothing to be alarmed about. Next thing you know, here comes the kung fu squirrel out of nowhere. It was like someone shot the squirrel out of a cannon. That squirrel was ready to throw fucking hands. I definitely didn’t see it coming. Ya got me.
In the end, this was an M. Night Shyamalan twist, and ultimately, Suse was right.
Actually, shit – now that I think about it, was this the sequel to A Quiet Place? It was supposed to be released later in the spring, but maybe they just dropped it on Twitter early as a nice little surprise. I don’t know.
As far as the art of the squirrel video goes, this is undoubtedly a masterpiece. I stand. I salute. I applaud.
