The Hell Is Mark Richt Eating These Days?

Mark Richt posted a photo of his dinner and I honestly have no idea what it is, but he calls it "hot dog delight" and that isn't helping matters for me.

Mark Richt is undoubtedly one of the bona fide legends of the SEC. The man was synonymous with Georgia Bulldogs football for an entire generation of college football fans. Though the knock was always that he couldn’t get to the big one, Richt still had an admirable tenure with the Bulldogs. He went on to coach the Miami Hurricanes for a couple of seasons before retiring.

Now…..he’s posting pictures of his birthday dinner, and I can’t help but wonder if everything is alright in Camp Richt. Buddy’s gotta be sittin’ on a mountain of cash after his career. Or did he blow it all? Is this some sort of dementia? Why am I looking at a fancy plate loaded with beans, cheese, ketchup, and I’m assuming hot dogs (because it’s called hot dog delight)?

Did a child tweet this?! Did a child create this dish? Because this definitely looks like something a child would love. Look – to each his own! Do your thing and all, but Coach Richt, are times really this tough?!?! You can’t even get yourself a nice steak dinner on your birthday?!?!

Someone commented ‘needs mustard’ and I have to hard agree on that one. One time, I got a little crazy in the kitchen, put jalapenos, sauerkraut, baked beans, and mustard on a hot dog and it was fantastic. Shit. Now that I think about it, I am absolutely in no position to judge Mark Richt and his food choices here. I’ve eaten some gross things in my days.

You know what’s making this difficult for me? Ketchup. Gross, overrated condiment ketchup. If this was mustard, I’d probably be all in. That’s what we call “self-awareness,” people.

I am proud of myself and what I’ve accomplished here today.
