By now, y’all know that I have been making a strong concerted effort to get out there and try some of the food trucks that are making the rounds in the surrounding neighborhoods of Nashville. I just want to make sure I’m doing my part to help out local businesses while also still making sure that we have our anthology of Nashville Reviews still going strong. Everyone wins during this quarantine. Today, I’m going to be sharing a couple of photos, and offering up my thoughts on the orange dreamsicle from Bradley’s Curbside Creamery. My girlfriend did a mix of chocolate and butter pecan, I think, but don’t hold me to that because it’s been a couple of weeks and I’m behind on getting this published. #Journalism.

Ratings

Food: 5.4/10 – It was good ice cream. I’m a sucker for a good orange creamsicle flavor, and they nailed it. Absolutely perfect – a good creamsicle flavor has more creamy vanilla than tart orange, in my opinion, or else it runs the risk of tasting like some gas station concocted syrupy Kool-Aid slushy or something. I will say that the texture was a little chalky, but all in all, a good cup of ice cream.

Value: 5/10 – Decent price for a decent portion. That earns it a smack-dab-in-the-middle ‘fair is fair’ rating. Them’s the rules.

Overall: 5.2/10 – For those wondering, I usually throw ‘atmosphere/service’ and ‘booze’ to the ratings, but those categories don’t apply in times like these…and especially for an ice cream truck. This is a nice treat if you’re craving some good quality ice cream – I imagine Bradley’s Curbside Creamery kills it at fairs and festivals in the summer time.
