Usually, I like to go with a little more lighthearted content on a Friday afternoon. I mean, ffs, for how many years did we run The Friday Feel Good?!?! So, my apologies for bucking that norm, but I feel there’s an important message to deliver today, and it just so happened to scroll across my feed on a Friday afternoon. We have an excellent good girl named Piper, who is very obviously enjoying a good quality pool day (who doesn’t enjoy a good quality pool day?), when all of a sudden the pool decides to play a sick practical joke on Piper that I fully do not support.

Hate to break the news to pool lovers out there, but I think it is time that we #CANCEL this pool. This is just reckless, irresponsible, and disrespectful to Piper here. I won’t tolerate it. Whoever designed this clearly had evil intentions towards dogs.
And, you know what? While we’re at it, I think that no-good dastardly hose pipe was in on it. Actually, you can’t convince me that the hose didn’t have at least some part in pulling off this prank.
Listen – I’m just as big a fan of the good old fashioned practical joke as anyone. If this happened to a full grown man, I’d be belly laughing like fucking Santa Claus right now. That’s how much I love jokes. But, this is different. This is taking advantage of Piper’s good nature and not knowing any better.
Shame on Big Pool for allowing this to happen. We need to cut the lobbyists out of Washington.
I simply will not stand for this, ESPECIALLY this close to #GinFriday, when we are supposed to be roaring with laughter, hearts full of glee.
