Well, well, well – here we are. Who would have thought back in August that we’d actually be here? Covid be damned, we’ve got the 2020 SEC Championship on deck between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida Gators! That can mean only one thing – it’s time for another patented SoBros Network drinking game!
Odds are pointing to this one NOT being a very competitive game at the moment – Alabama is currently favored by 17 points, which sounds completely absurd for a major college football conference championship game. But, seeing how the Tide has steamrolled every opponent this year, it’s not easy to see why they’re favored so big. Not to mention, Florida is coming off of a demoralizing loss to a very-not-good LSU squad that is nowhere near as talented as 2019’s historic team. It’s obvious the powers that be think this is going to be a blood bath – hell, ESPN’s match-up predictor is currently giving Alabama an 89% chance to win this game. Astonishing.
But, let’s not take away from the special season Florida has had to win the SEC East and get into this game. Dan Mullen is capable of winning a National Championship – I don’t think anyone doesn’t believe that. So, all things considered, don’t be surprised if some funky stuff happens and this game ends up being closer than expected. You never know what can happen in big time games such as this one.
So, let’s get to it – the 2020 SEC Championship Drinking Game is HERE!
