Since I’m going to be out of office for the week, getting married, and celebrating the occasion with friends and family who have traveled literally from coast to coast to be here in Nashville with us, I didn’t want to just leave you high and dry with no SoBros Network content in my absence. So, over the course of the next week, I’ll be looking at and re-running some of my favorite shows, videos, and articles we’ve produced. Today, we’re going to look at Drinking With…
The Best of Drinking With…
In case you’re new to this show, the premise of Drinking With…Steven McCash is simple. We celebrate movies as they’re turning the legal drinking age in the United States. We pour up a themed cocktail and discuss the film and its impact on pop culture. It’s evident in every episode that our host, Steven McCash, does his homework on the films in discussion and that attention to detail shines through in every show. This has quickly become one of the most fun shows we run on SoBros Network – hope you’ll join us for a drink or two.
Ep. 06: Drinking With…High Fidelity – link – Like every new project, it takes a little bit to get into the groove of things. This show was the first time I remember thinking “okay, we found our rhythm and this is some real fun shit.” I didn’t like the movie all that much, but that just made the episode all the more fun to me. Not to mention, the cocktail for this one was awesome.
Ep. 08: Drinking With…Scary Movie – link – To date, this is still our most downloaded episode. Even now as I think about recording this show, I’m surprised at how deep we were able to dive into this movie.
Ep. 11: Drinking With…How the Grinch Stole Christmas – link – I am simply mentioning this episode here because I still want to see Willem Dafoe play the Grinch…
Ep. 14: Drinking With…Training Day – link – Such a good movie. Such good performances. It’s always worth reliving no matter which group of people is talking about it.
